Ketley Claypit is a 13.7 hectares geological site of Special Scientific Interest in the West Midlands. The site was notified in 1990 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. It is located in Kingswinford. Ketley Claypit is situated 2,200 feet southwest of Building 19.

Holbeche House is a mansion located approximately 1 mile north of Kingswinford, now in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley but historically in Staffordshire. Some members of the Gunpowder Plot were either killed or captured at Holbeche House in 1605. Holbeche House is situated 1¼ miles northwest of Building 19.
