The Round Church, also known as the Golden Church or the Church of St John, is a large partially preserved early medieval Eastern Orthodox church. It lies in Preslav, the former capital of the First Bulgarian Empire, today a town in northeastern Bulgaria. Round Church, Preslav is situated 1¼ km south of ‘Veliki Preslav’ Archeological Museum.

The Patleina Monastery of Saint Pantaleon is a ruined Bulgarian Orthodox monastery. It is an archaeological site situated at the outskirts of the capital of the First Bulgarian Empire, Preslav. Patleyna monastery is situated 3 km south of ‘Veliki Preslav’ Archeological Museum.

Veliki Preslav is a small town in northeastern Bulgaria, not far from Shumen. It was the site of the second capital of medieval Bulgaria, and now the ruins are a national archeological reserve.
