Oulton Broad North railway station is on the Wherry Lines in the east of England, and is one of two stations serving Oulton Broad, Suffolk. The other is Oulton Broad South on the East Suffolk Line. Oulton Broad North railway station is situated 3,300 feet west of Barnard’s Meadow.

It is best known for its large number of Royal Navy burials from World War I and World War II; these are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Lowestoft Cemetery is situated 1,600 feet northeast of Barnard’s Meadow.

Leathes Ham

Leathes Ham is a 6 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Lowestoft in Suffolk. It is owned by Waveney District Council. In the medieval period this site was turbary, an area which was dug for peat, and it later flooded and became a lake. Leathes Ham is situated 1,400 feet west of Barnard’s Meadow.
