Kathmandu Durbar Square is a historically and culturally significant site in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Basantapur Durbar Square is situated 390 metres northwest of People’s Plaza.

The Saṃkaṭā Temple, is one of the temples located at Te Bahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Palah: Dya is a popular divinity here worshipped by Buddhists, especially on Saturdays, to ward off bad luck and sickness. Sankata Temple is situated 150 metres east of People’s Plaza.
