Arch of Germanicus
The Arch of Germanicus is an ancient Roman arch in Saintes, Charente-Maritime in France. It was built in 18 or 19 by a rich citizen of the town, C. Julius Rufus, and dedicated to the emperor Tiberius, his son Drusus Julius Caesar, and his adoptive son Germanicus.Photo: Wikimedia, CC BY-SA 2.5.

Saintes Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church and former cathedral located in Saintes, France. The cathedral is a national monument. It was formerly the seat of the Bishop of Saintes, a diocese abolished under the Concordat of 1801, when its territory was reallocated, mostly to the Diocese of La Rochelle. Saintes Cathedral is situated 280 metres southwest of Arch of Germanicus.
