It was built c.1560 on the site of a medieval building and has been modified several times since, particularly in the 1870s and 1880s when it was substantially restored, remodelled and extended. Pitchford Hall is situated 2 miles southeast of Condover Hall.

Condover is a village and civil parish in Shropshire, England. It is about 5 miles south of the county town of Shrewsbury, and just east of the A49. The Cound Brook flows through the village on its way from the Stretton Hills to a confluence with the River Severn.
