The Lynch

The Lynch is an island in the River Thames in Berkshire, England. It is on the reach above Shiplake Lock near Lower Shiplake. The island is large and triangular shaped, forming a pair with the similar Hallsmead Ait.

Clayfield Copse

Clayfield Copse is a local nature reserve on the northern edge of the suburb of Caversham in Reading, UK. The site is 8.65 hectares in size and is a natural open space consisting of fields, wild flower meadow and native woodlands adjoining the Oxfordshire countryside.

Sonning Lock

Sonning Lock is a lock and associated weir situated on the River Thames at the village of Sonning near Reading, Berkshire, England. The first lock was built by the Thames Navigation Commission in 1773 and it has been rebuilt three times since then.
