Ararat is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia, located 14 km south of the provincial centre Artashat. In the 2011 census, the village had a population of 7,609. Ararat is situated 3½ km west of Ararat-2.

Ararat is a town in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia, located on the Yerevan-Nakhchivan highway, 42 km southeast of the capital Yerevan and 19 km south of the provincial centre Artashat. Ararat is situated 4 km west of Ararat-2.

Avshar is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. It hosted the 1993 and 1995 CYMA – Canadian Youth Mission to Armenia led by Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and Ronald Alepian. Avshar is situated 5 km west of Ararat-2.
