Ararat is a town in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia, located on the Yerevan-Nakhchivan highway, 42 km southeast of the capital Yerevan and 19 km south of the provincial centre Artashat. Ararat is situated 3 km west of Ararat Cement Factory.

Ararat is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia, located 14 km south of the provincial centre Artashat. In the 2011 census, the village had a population of 7,609. Ararat is situated 3½ km southwest of Ararat Cement Factory.
