Village
Greenock is a small town on the north-west edge of the Barossa Valley. Located 66 km from Adelaide on the Sturt Highway, Greenock is characterised by tree-lined streets with shady peppercorn trees which offer welcome relief from the hot summers which are characteristic of the area.
Nain
Village
Nain is a settlement west of Greenock in the northern Barossa Valley region of South Australia. It was first settled in the 1850s, mostly by German settlers moving from the Mount Barker area. Nain is situated 3 km northwest of Greenock Centenary Park.

Marananga is a locality in South Australia. It was known as Gnadenfrei before 1918 when names of "enemy origin" were changed to sound less German. The Gnadenfrei Lutheran Church was established, then a German school was established in 1879. Marananga is situated 3½ km south of Greenock Centenary Park.
