The Ljubljana railway station is the principal railway station in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It was completed on 18 April 1848, a year before the Austrian Southern Railway, connecting Vienna and Trieste, reached Ljubljana. Ljubljana Railway Station is situated 310 metres south of Navje Memorial Park.

Formerly, the site was the military headquarters of the Army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, then it became the Slovenian headquarters of the Yugoslav People's Army. Metelkova is situated 590 metres southeast of Navje Memorial Park.
