The Catacombs of Paris are underground ossuaries in Paris, France, which hold the remains of more than six million people. Built to consolidate Paris's ancient stone quarries, they extend south from the Barrière d'Enfer former city gate. Catacombs of Paris is situated 210 metres north of La Roche.

Denfert-Rochereau station is a railway station in Paris. It was one of the first stations of the French railway network, and is still in use as a station of Paris' RER line B. Denfert-Rochereau station is situated 150 metres northeast of La Roche.
