The Auckland War Memorial Museum, also known as Auckland Museum, is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. It was primarily used for rugby league and had a peak spectator capacity of around 28,000 in the 1930s, though this fell to around 17,000 by the time the ground was closed in 2002.
