Central Zoo

The Central Zoo is a 6-hectare zoo in Jawalakhel, Nepal. It is home to some 969 animals in 109 species, and is operated by the National Trust for Nature Conservation. Central Zoo is situated 1¼ km northeast of Centre for Empowerment and development.

Jal Binayak is a Hindu Temple of Lord Ganesh located in the Chobhar, central part of Kathmandu District, Nepal. The Jal Binayak temple is the most important Ganesh shrine of the central region Kathmandu. It is one of the four Binayak of Kathmandu Valley. Jal Binayak Temple is situated 1¼ km southwest of Centre for Empowerment and development.

Dasharath Rangasala

Dasharath Rangasala is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. It is named after Dasharath Chand, one of the four great martyrs of Nepal. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and cultural programmes. Dasharath Rangasala is situated 3½ km north of Centre for Empowerment and development.

Chobhar is an ancient hill village in Kathmandu Valley a few kilometres southwest of Kathmandu. It has its origins in the 12th century. It is noted for an extensive series of caves and a gorge on the Bagmati River found nearby.
