Temple of Monte Grisa

The Temple of Monte Grisa, officially the National Shrine of Mary Mother and Queen, is a Roman-Catholic church north of the city of Trieste. Located at an altitude of 300 metres on the edge of the Karst Plateau above Barcola and Miramare Castle, it is a most conspicuous landmark. Temple of Monte Grisa is situated 560 metres southwest of Naron.

Grotta Gigante

Grotta Gigante, also known as Riesengrotte or as Grotta di Brisciachi, is a giant cave on the Italian side of the Trieste Karst, close to the village of Borgo Grotta Gigante or Briščiki in the municipality of Sgonico. Grotta Gigante is situated 1½ km northeast of Naron.
