University Medical Centre Ljubljana
The Ljubljana University Medical Centre or Ljubljana UMC is the largest hospital centre in Slovenia based in Ljubljana. It was officially opened on 29 November 1975 and as of December 2019 had over 2,100 beds and over 8,300 employees, making it one of the largest hospital centres in Central Europe.- Type: Hospital

Metelkova is an autonomous social and cultural centre in the city centre of Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital city. Formerly, the site was the military headquarters of the Army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, then it became the Slovenian headquarters of the Yugoslav People's Army. Metelkova is situated 450 metres northwest of University Medical Centre Ljubljana.
