Banna-ji is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect in the city of Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, in northern Kantō region of Japan. The honzon of the temple is a statue of Dainichi Nyōrai, leading to the temple's nickname of Dainichisama.

Ashikaga Gakkō is Japan's oldest standing academic building. It is located in the city of Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, about 70 kilometres north of Tokyo. It was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1928. Ashikaga Gakkō is situated 220 metres southeast of Main Shrine.
