The Red Fort is a historic Mughal fort located in the Old Delhi area of Delhi, India. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan on the 12th of May 1639, the fort was constructed following his decision to shift the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Red Fort, Delhi is situated 1½ km southeast of Kashmiri Gate.

St. James' Church is a colonial-era church located in Old Delhi, India. It was once the official church of the British Viceroy of India. The building, which was built in 1836 for James Skinner, is one of the oldest churches in the city. Saint James‘ Anglican Church is situated 230 metres southeast of Kashmiri Gate.
