Aussegnungshalle is a church, which is situated 160 metres northwest of Friedhof Riem.

Munich-Riem Airport was the international airport of Munich, the capital city of Bavaria and third-largest city of Germany. It was closed down on 16 May 1992, the day before the new Munich Airport commenced operations. Munich-Riem Airport is situated 1 km northeast of Friedhof Riem.

The Riem Arcaden is the largest shopping mall in Munich. It was built in the Messestadt Riem district at Willy-Brandt-Platz and designed by the Allmann Sattler Wappner firm and opened on 10 March 2004. Riem Arcaden is situated 800 metres east of Friedhof Riem.

Trudering-Riem is the 15th borough of Munich, Bavaria. It consists of the two quarters Trudering and Riem. The borough is the location of Munich's former airport, Riem Airport.
