Bathmen is a village and former municipality in the east of the Netherlands. The municipality was merged with her larger neighbour of Deventer on 1 January 2005 as part of a national effort to reduce bureaucracy in the country. Bathmen is situated 3½ km northwest of De Kleine Kolenkolk.

Lochem is a city of 34,000 people in the Achterhoek, the region in the east of the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is known for its historical city centre and the Lochemerberg, one of the highest points in the area.
