Dights Falls is a rapid and weir on the Yarra River in Melbourne, Victoria, just downstream of the junction with the Merri Creek. At this point the river narrows and is constricted between 800,000-year-old volcanic, basaltic lava flow and a much older steep, silurian, sedimentary spur. Dights Falls is situated 540 metres west of Galatea Point.
Johnston Street Bridge

Johnston Street Bridge is a concrete road bridge crossing the Yarra River between the Melbourne suburbs of Abbotsford and Kew. The current bridge was constructed in 1954-56 by the Country Roads Board using a design employing cast-in-place reinforced-concrete curved T girders and an integral flat slab deck. Johnston Street Bridge is situated 410 metres southwest of Galatea Point.

Victoria Park is an Australian rules football venue in the Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford. It is the historical home ground of the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League, which played senior men's matches at the ground from 1892 until 1999 and retained the ground as an administrative and training base until 2004. Victoria Park is situated 1 km west of Galatea Point.
