It located on the Amsterdam Centraal station – Amersfoort station part of the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway, with a branch to Utrecht Centraal station. Hilversum railway station is situated 1¼ km southwest of De Morgenster.

Opened on 25 September 1974, Hilversum Media Park is located on kilometre 27 of the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway, partly called the Gooilijn because of the region it runs through. Hilversum Media Park railway station is situated 1½ km west of De Morgenster.
