The Korean Folklore Museum is a museum in North Korea, located north of the Korean Central History Museum next to the Taedong Gate in Pyongyang. It was opened in February 1956.

It contains displays on Korean history from primitive society to the modern age. Korean Central History Museum is situated 160 metres south of Folklore Museum of Korea.

Taedong Gate

Taedongmun is the eastern gate of the inner castle of the walled city of Pyongyang, and one of the National Treasures of North Korea. Located on the banks of the Taedong River, from which it gets its name, the gate was originally built in the sixth century… Taedong Gate is situated 200 metres northeast of Folklore Museum of Korea.
