Rochester is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 5,717 at the 2020 census. Rochester is a part of the South Coast region of Massachusetts which encompasses the cities and towns that surround Buzzards Bay, Mount Hope Bay and the Sakonnet River.
