Giant's Causeway is a spectacular series of rock formations on the coast of County Antrim in Northern Ireland. The site stretches for 2-3 miles, with some 40,000 basalt columns rising out of the sea.

Dunluce Castle is a now-ruined medieval castle in Northern Ireland, the seat of Clan MacQuillan. It is located on the edge of a basalt outcropping in County Antrim, and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland. Dunluce Castle is situated 1½ miles southwest of Lodge.
