Puckham Woods

Puckham Woods is a 32.38-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire to the east of Cheltenham near Whittington, notified in 1954. The site is listed in the 'Cotswold District' Local Plan 2001-2011 as a Key Wildlife Site.

Cleeve Hill

Cleeve Hill is the highest point both of the Cotswolds hill range and of the county of Gloucestershire, at 330 m. It is located on Cleeve Common, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest looked after by a small charity called Cleeve Common Trust.

Whittington Court

Whittington Court is an Elizabethan manor house, five miles east of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, England. Adjacent to the house is the Whittington parish church which dates from the 12th century and now dedicated to St Bartholomew.

Belas Knap

Belas Knap is a Neolithic, chambered long barrow situated on Cleeve Hill, near Cheltenham and Winchcombe, in Gloucestershire, England. It is a type of monument known as the Cotswold Severn Cairn, all of which have a similar trapezoid shape, and are found scattered along the River Severn.

Cheltenham is an historic spa town in England, which started its development in the early 1700s with the discovery of healing waters. It became very popular after the visit of King George III in 1788, and developed further.

Winchcombe

Winchcombe is a town of 5,300 people in the Cotswolds. Winchcombe is a popular destination for walkers and history fans. With people often visiting the running Gloucestershire Warwickshire Heritage Railway steam train that connects it to Broadway and the Cheltenham Racecourse; and Sudeley Castle, the burial place of Queen Katherine Parr, that lies on its outskirts.
