The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila is a historic Mughal fort located in the Old Delhi area of Delhi, India. It served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Red Fort, Delhi is situated 290 metres southwest of Zafar Mahal.

The Moti Masjid is a 17th-century historical mosque, not open for worship, inside the Red Fort complex in North Delhi, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, damaged during the Siege of Delhi, and subsequently restored by the British. Moti Masjid is situated 110 metres southeast of Zafar Mahal.

Salimgarh Fort was built in 1546 CE in Delhi, on what was then an island of the Yamuna River, by Salim Shah Suri, the son of Sher Shah Suri. The fort was constructed during a period when the Mughal Empire had been temporarily overthrown; in 1540 CE, Sher Shah Suri had defeated the Mughal emperor Humayun and established the rule of the Sur Empire rule in Delhi. Salimgarh Fort is situated 340 metres north of Zafar Mahal.
