St. Pauls Catholic Church

The St Paul of the Cross Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in the city of Rousse in northeastern . It is the cathedral church of the Latin Catholic Diocese of Nicopoli and it is dedicated to Saint Paul of the Cross, founder of the Passionists.

According to a legend, the house was bestowed upon the beautiful Kaliopa, the wife of the Prussian consul Kalish, by the governor of the Danubian Vilayet, Midhat Pasha, who was in love with her. is situated 480 metres northeast of St. Pauls Catholic Church.
