Panmon Hall
The Phanmun Pavilion is a North Korean building located in the northern part of the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom. Built in September 1969, the building functions as North Korea's equivalent to the House of Freedom which is located 80 metres to the south, on the South Korean side of the Military Demarcationㄹ기ㅁw정으ㄴ돼대지 Line.Photo: (stephan), CC BY-SA 2.0.

Joint Security Area

The Joint Security Area is the only portion of the Korean Demilitarized Zone where North and South Korean forces stand face-to-face. The JSA is used by the two Koreas for diplomatic engagements and, until March 1991, was also the site of military negotiations between North Korea and the United Nations Command. Joint Security Area is situated 230 metres west of Panmon Hall.
Inter-Korean House of Freedom

The House of Freedom is a four-story building located in the southern part of Panmunjom. It stands opposite to its North Korean equivalent, the Phanmun Pavilion. Inter-Korean House of Freedom is situated 130 metres southwest of Panmon Hall.

Located in the Joint Security Area, the so-called "Bridge of No Return" crosses the Military Demarcation Line between North Korea and South Korea. Bridge of No Return is situated 620 metres west of Panmon Hall.
