The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of glacial lakes, situated in the northwestern Rila Mountain in Bulgaria. Situated between 2,100 and 2,500 metres elevation above sea level, they are the most visited group of lakes in Bulgaria. Seven Rila Lakes is situated 3 km northeast of Ivan Vazov hut.

The Urdini Lakes are a group of glacial lakes, situated in the northwestern Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. They are not as popular with the tourists as the Seven Rila Lakes further west, because they are situated in the most difficultly accessible areas of the mountain range. Urdini Lakes is situated 4 km east of Ivan Vazov hut.

Panichishte is a resort in Bulgaria. It is located in Rila Mountain, 3 km southeast of Sapareva Banya Town and not far from Dupnitsa Town. At 1,350 meters above sea level, it lies on the border of Rila National Park. Panichishte is situated 8 km north of Ivan Vazov hut.

Pastra is a small mountain village in the Rila Municipality of Kyustendil Province in south-western Bulgaria. As of 2013, it had 151 inhabitants. It lies at the western foothills of the Rila Mountains on the banks of the Rilska River just outside the borders of the Rila Monastery Nature Park. Pastra is situated 9 km southwest of Ivan Vazov hut.
