The Panagia Tourliani is the most important monastery of Mykonos and the patron saint of the island. It is located in Ano Mera Mykonos at a distance of seven kilometers from Mykonos Town. Panagia Tourliani, Mykonos is situated 2 km southeast of Tarsanas.

Marmaronisi is a small uninhabited rock island on the northern side of Mykonos in the Cyclades. It is located at the entrance of the bay of Panormos and opposite the settlement of Agios Sostis. Marmaronisi is situated 3½ km north of Tarsanas.
