It is a station on the Cambrian Coast Railway with services between Shrewsbury and Pwllheli via Machynlleth. Penrhyndeudraeth railway station is situated 650 feet southeast of Penrhyndeudraeth Library.

Penrhyn railway station is situated 2,000 feet north of Penrhyndeudraeth Library.
