Engelberg is a mountain of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The mountain rises up over the town of Leonberg, Engelberg at a height of 480.60 metres. Originally known as Endelberg, it has been called by its current name since the 16th century.

Leonberg Castle

Schloss Leonberg was founded in 1248 by count Ulrich I of Württemberg. The original castle was modified between 1560 and 1565 by the master builder Aberlin Tretsch by order of the duke Christoph. Leonberg Castle is situated 1¼ km west of Engelberg.
