Quarters 1, also known as Building 1, is a historic officer's quarters located at Fort Monroe, Hampton, Virginia. The original section was built in 1819, and consists of a three-story, central block, double pile residence with flanking, two-story wings in the Federal style. Quarters 1 is situated 1¼ miles south of Outdoor Recreation Center.

Old Point Comfort Light is a lighthouse located on the grounds of Fort Monroe in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay. It is the second oldest light in the bay and the oldest still in use. Old Point Light is situated 1½ miles south of Outdoor Recreation Center.

One of the oldest recreational areas in the state, it was long located in the former Elizabeth City County near the downtown area of the lost town of Phoebus prior to their consolidation with Hampton in 1952.
