Svanemøllen

The Svaneke water tower, in the small town of Svaneke on the Danish island of Bornholm, was designed by award-winning architect Jørn Utzon and completed in 1952. Svaneke water tower is situated 200 metres north of Svanemøllen.

It stands above the harbour at a height of 18 metres on the site of a small chapel which appears to have existed for quite some time before the town received its charter in the 16th century. Svaneke Church is situated 630 metres southeast of Svanemøllen.

Bechs Mølle is a post mill located in Svaneke on the Danish island of Bornholm. Built in 1629, it is the oldest standing windmill in Denmark. In recent years, extensive restoration work has been carried out, preserving as far as possible the old structure and machinery. Bechs Mølle is situated 370 metres north of Svanemøllen.
