Choeung Ek is a site in Dangkao on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, that was used as a Killing Field between 1977 and 1979 by the Khmer Rouge to perpetrate the Cambodian genocide. Choeung Ek Genocidal Center is situated 3½ km west of Wat Ta Krobao.

Koh Pich is a 100-hectare island and a mixed-use estate and central business district in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It lies in the Tonlé Bassac River near Chaktomuk, where the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers meet and the Bassac River branches off; it forms part of Chamkar Mon District and faces Koh Norea across the river. Koh Pich is situated 7 km north of Wat Ta Krobao.
