Potongmun
Potongmun is the western gate of the inner system of the walled city of Pyongyang. It was originally built in the sixth century as an official Koguryo construction, and was later rebuilt in 1473.Photo: Tom, CC BY-SA 2.0.

The Pyongyang Assembly Hall, formerly known as the Mansudae Assembly Hall, is the seat of the Supreme People's Assembly, the unicameral supreme state organ of power of North Korea. Mansudae Assembly Hall is situated 690 metres east of Potongmun.

The People's Palace of Culture is a palace and theater located in Pyongyang, North Korea. Construction for the building finished in January 1974 and was opened to the public in April 1974. People’s Palace of Culture is situated 350 metres southwest of Potongmun.
Grand People’s Study House

The Grand People's Study House is the national library of North Korea, located in the capital city of Pyongyang. The library was built in 1982 in honour of the Supreme Leader Kim Il Sung's 70th birthday. Grand People’s Study House is situated 1 km southeast of Potongmun.
