Castle
Kōchi Castle is an Edo Period Japanese castle in the city of Kōchi, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. It is located at Otakayama hill, at the center of Kōchi city, which in turn is located at the center of the Kōchi Plain, the most prosperous area of former Tosa Province on the island of Shikoku. Kochi castle is situated 1¼ km north of Hitsuzan Park.

The nagaya of 1864, 33.4m x 5.7m, twin storey, with a hip-and-gable tiled roof, is an Important Cultural Property. Former Yamauchi Residence is situated 600 metres northwest of Hitsuzan Park.
