Wisma Sanyan was the tallest building in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia from its completion in 2001 to 2019. Wisma Sanyan's title as Borneo's tallest building was taken by the 33-storey Kinabalu Tower in Kota Kinabalu which was completed in 2016. Wisma Sanyan is situated 310 metres west of Sibu Heritage Centre.

Tua Peh Kong Temple in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia is the oldest Chinese temple in the town with a 7-storey pagoda with the temple history dates back to 1850s. Tua Pek Kong Temple is situated 350 metres southwest of Sibu Heritage Centre.
