The Shanghai Museum is a public municipal museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. It is funded by the Shanghai Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau. Shanghai Museum is situated 120 metres southeast of People’s Square.

The Shanghai Grand Theatre is a complex located at the intersection of Renmin Avenue and Huangpi North Road in the northern part of the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. Shanghai Grand Theatre is situated 300 metres west of People’s Square.
