USS Iowa

USS Iowa is a retired battleship, the lead ship of her class, and the fourth in the United States Navy to be named after the state of Iowa. Owing to the cancellation of the Montana-class battleships, Iowa is the last lead ship of any class of United States battleships and was the only ship of her class to serve in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. USS Iowa is situated 1 mile northwest of Building 18.

SS Lane Victory

SS Lane Victory is an American Victory-class cargo ship used in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War. The ship was preserved in 1989 to serve as a museum ship in the San Pedro area of Los Angeles, California. SS Lane Victory is situated 2,800 feet southwest of Building 18.

Timms' Point and Landing is a California Historical Landmark at Los Angeles harbor in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles. It is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, listed in 1977 as Site of Timm's Landing. Timm’s Point and Landing is situated 1,700 feet west of Building 18.
