Asparagus Island
Asparagus Island is a small tidal island on the eastern side of Mount's Bay, within the parish of Mullion, Cornwall, United Kingdom. The Lizard is a peninsula in West Cornwall in the South West. The name may be derived from the Cornish expression Lys Ardh, which means "High Court". The Lizard contains Britain's most southerly point, the Lizard Point.

It was often the welcoming beacon to persons returning to England, where on a clear night, the reflected light could be seen 100 mi away. Lizard Lighthouse is situated 1½ miles southeast of Asparagus Island.
