Kanbawzathadi Palace is a palace in Bago, Myanmar. The original palace, built for King Bayinnaung in 1556, consisted of 76 apartments and halls. It was burned down in 1599. Kanbawzathadi Palace is situated 2,600 feet southwest of Shwemawdaw Paya.

The Hintha Gon Pagoda is a major Buddhist shrine located in Bago, in the Bago Region of Myanmar. It is a popular tourist destination, named after the legendary Hintha bird, a symbol of the Mon people. Hintha Gon Pagoda is situated 2,900 feet east of Shwemawdaw Paya.

The Shwethalyaung Temple (Burmese: ရွှေသာလျှောင်းဘုရား is a Buddhist temple in the west side of Bago, Myanmar. The name Shwethalyaung means "Golden Image of the Sleeping Buddha" and the temple houses a reclining Buddha statue in the temple is 55 metres in length and 15 metres in height. ေရႊသာေလ်ာင္း ဘုရား is situated 2½ miles west of Shwemawdaw Paya.
