Northern Trains operate the station and provide local passenger train services, with a London North Eastern Railway service to and from London King's Cross running six times per day.

The Royal Hall is a Grade II* listed performance hall and theatre, located in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. With local benefactors led by engineering inventor Samson Fox, the building opened in 1903 as the Kursaal.

Harrogate is an attractive Regency / Victorian spa town in North Yorkshire, with fine public gardens, and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Its spa hotels have morphed into conference and "wellness" centres, and it's well stocked with good eating places, including the famous Betty's Tea Rooms.

Knaresborough is a picturesque market town in North Yorkshire. It's four miles east of Harrogate, and bounded to the west by the deep gorge of the River Nidd. In 2024 the population was 16,500.
