The Maskeliya Dam is a large gravity dam at Maskeliya, in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. The Castlereigh Dam is a gravity dam built across the Kehelgamu Oya, a major tributary to the Kelani River, approximately 3 km south-west of Hatton, in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. The dam is a popular location for both locals and tourists. Castlereigh Dam is situated 4 km northeast of Maskeliya Dam.

Maskeliya is a town in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is the site of the 1974 crash of Martinair Flight 138, the worst air disaster in Sri Lanka. Maskeliya is situated 3 km southeast of Maskeliya Dam.
