Gyrn Ddu is a hill near the northeastern corner of the Llŷn Peninsula in the community of Llanaelhaearn in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales. It forms the western half of a wider upland area, another significant top of which is the 510 m summit of Bwlch Mawr to the east.

Tre'r Ceiri is a hillfort dating back to the Iron Age. The name means "town of the giants", from cewri, plural of cawr, "giant". The settlement is 450 metres above sea level on the slopes of Yr Eifl, a mountain on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, north-western Wales.
