Paris Zoological Park

The Paris Zoological Park, formerly known as the Bois de Vincennes Zoological Park, and commonly called the Vincennes Zoo, is a facility of the National Museum of Natural History, located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, which covers an area of 14.5 hectares in the bois de Vincennes. Paris Zoological Park is situated 250 metres northeast of Île de Reuilly.

The Pagode du bois de Vincennes is the seat of the Institut international bouddhique founded by Jean Sainteny who was the manager of the institute. It is located in a former building of the International Colonial Exposition of 1931, designed by the architect Louis-Hippolyte Boileau. Pagode de Vincennes is situated 280 metres south of Île de Reuilly.

The Kagyu-Dzong center is a Buddhist center in Paris, affiliated to the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. This center is linked to the 17th Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje. Kagyu-Dzong is situated 230 metres south of Île de Reuilly.
