The Korea Central Zoo, also referred to as the Pyongyang Central Zoo, is the national zoo of North Korea. It is located near Taesŏngsan mountain in downtown Pyongyang. Central Zoo is situated 1 km north of Central Botanical Garden.

Anhakkung was the royal residence of the kingdom Goguryeo after the capital was moved to Pyongyang from Gungnae. The palace was built in 427 AD in the Taesong District of Pyongyang, North Korea, at the foot of Mount Taesong. Anhak Royal Palace Site is situated 1¼ km southeast of Central Botanical Garden.
