Cross Bones is a disused post-medieval burial ground on Redcross Way in Southwark, South London. Excavation reports state that "the ground is thought to have originally been established at least as early as the 17th century, as a single women's cemetery.- Opening hours: Monday—Friday noon—3:00 PM

The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. It was built in 1599 at Southwark, close to the south bank of the Thames, by Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men. Shakespeares Globe is situated 1,100 feet north of Cross Bones.
