Port Vila is the capital of Vanuatu. Vanuatu's largest town, with some 50,000 people, it lies on the south coast of the island of Efate in the province of Shefa, right in the middle of the archipelago.

Pango is a community located on the southern coast of Efate, Vanuatu. It is considered peri-urban and is located seven kilometers away from Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu. The name Pango was given by early Samoan missionaries who arrived in the 1840s. Pango is situated 9 km west of Ewentau Beach.
